The Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship is designed for individuals using online and social media platforms to design, build and implement campaigns and drive customer sales.

What does Digital Marketer EPA involve?

The end point assessment, or EPA, for the Digital Marketer standard is made up of four components:

1

Portfolio

Apprentices complete a portfolio on programme and submit this for assessment after gateway. This includes evidence from real work projects which, taken together, cover the totality of the standard.

2

Project

The apprentice must undertake a business-related project over a one week period, away from the day to day workplace.

3

Employer reference

Shows the employer’s perspective on how the apprentice has performed in the workplace and how they have applied knowledge, competencies and behaviours in work projects.

4

Structured interview

The structured interview with an assessor explores what has been produced in the portfolio and the project, as well as looking into how it has been produced.

Apprenticeship standard

An apprenticeship standard is a short document based on an occupation, outlining the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) needed for someone to be competent in the occupation’s duties.

All apprenticeship standards have an accompanying assessment plan. This document details the independent assessment that apprentices will undertake at the end of the apprenticeship. This will include details on the assessment method(s) and processes that will be followed.
