The Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship
The Content Creator apprenticeship develops the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to plan, produce, and distribute content across a range of channels and formats. It is suited to individuals working in-house, within agencies, or as part of wider marketing and communications teams.
What does the Content Creator assessment involve?
The apprenticeship assessment for the Content Creator standard is made up of two components.
Project evaluation report with presentation and questioning
After gateway, apprentices submit a 1,500-word evaluation report based on a recent campaign, covering performance, evidence, and lessons learned, with supporting appendices. This is followed by a 30-minute presentation and questioning session via Microsoft Teams where apprentices present new content, pitch recommendations, and justify their creative decisions.
Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
A structured 60-minute professional discussion delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams, covering areas including written content, audio-visual content, content management, planning, and collaboration. The assessor asks at least 7 questions, with the portfolio providing real examples from the apprenticeship to underpin the conversation. At progress minded, we guide all parties through the process clearly and calmly, so there are no surprises at the end.
